Welcome!

Hi!  I'm Tonya and I just want to say thank you for your stopping by and supporting my small business!

We are a small family owned business located in Carroll, Ohio, about 25 minutes southeast of Columbus.  We are the home of the unique, patent pending Whipped Wax!  My husband, Troy and I have four boys (well I'd suppose they are young men) My oldest is Tyler, he is 27, Tevin is getting ready to turn 22 soon, Trey is 17, and my youngest is Tristan, he'll be 16in a few months!  And yes, before you even ask, I do get their names mixed up on a daily basis!!  I wasn't even done yet, we also have two fur babies! Tessa Lou is a 15 year old Chihuahua who weights roughly 5 lbs.  However, she is convinced she can rule the world!!   Tizzy Bell is my 8 year old cat.  She weighs around 17 lbs but is afraid of everything! Last but definitely not least, there's my dad, Vern.  He's 82 but I'm not sure he knows it!  He's the backbone of our operation.  He's my voice of calm and reason and our prayer warrior!

We are so excited about and proud of our patent pending Whipped Wax!  My family and I have been working hard to bring you this amazing flameless home fragrance product and helpful, friendly customer service!

In April 2019, we established our business, Tonya's I AM Crochet & Scents.  The Whipped Wax kind of took center stage and for good reason!  It was June 5th, 2019 that our unique Whipped Wax was invented.  We had a really great 2019 going to local craft shows and even made it into some really big shows.  Of course, 2020 rolls around and it's been a crazy year for all of us!  So now I find myself trying to focus in on e commerce.  I mentioned in my first blog that it is like learning a whole new language and culture.  Which has had some big wins but has also had lots of tears along with wanting to throw my laptop out the window.  However, I did have one thing going for me, the fact that i've always been a little obsessed with home fragrance!

When I really started to think seriously about a mission statement, it didn't take me long to identify where I wanted to start.  In my opinion, businesses today have lost sight of the customer! There seems to be a disconnect between businesses and their customers.  Not one business would be here without it's customers.  Another pet peeve is customer service!  Maybe I'm just getting old and set in my ways, but I remember a time when quality won out over the bottom line, and businesses were proud of their product and proud that it was made in the USA!

Our mission is to

build a trust between ourselves and our customers.  We will build this trust and brand loyalty by

  • Consistently bringing a quality product made with quality materials.
  • Make integrity, responsibility, and ethics priority
  • Be quick to listen to my customers and really get invested in their feedback.
  • Take time to go the extra mile with personal touches and making the customer feel truly appreciated.
  • Go out of my way, to buy materials made in the USA and even other small local businesses in my community when able.
  • Treating the customer as I would want to be treated. (can't go wrong with the golden rule!)
  • Really get involved in the building up of my community and businesses within the community!

Thanks again for your support of my small business.  I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully becoming your one stop shop for all your fragrance needs.

Blessings!

Tonya
